AM Pool

I did 45 min of aqua jogging again with the first 10 min with the belt.  Tomorrow for my aqua jogging I'm going to simulate miles repeats.  Exciting!

PM Bike

Did 30 min on the bike doing the same thing as yesterday with most of it being at 5/8 level with an increase for 5 min to 6/8 and 7/8.  I went 12.21 miles and burned 838 calories according to the bike and kept my heart rate up around 140-160.  I'm really digging all the data the bike gives me as it is making me really push harder.  I'm going to start doing longer stuff on the bike and more interval type work on that as well.   Also the cross training is helping the foot a lot without me loosing much running fitness.  I think I've got a good system going now.  Starting next week I'll take my normal workout week schedule with long runs but I will replace the normal continuous runs with bike/swim.  Hopefully after a few weeks of only running 3 days or so a week I can start adding in more run days.  I think this will also put me on schedule to race again the weekend of May 12.  But we'll see how things go.
