Bass Lake
This was my first attempt at a continuous run of over 10 miles since Feb 25th so I was worried about how I'd hold up. 13 miles isn't very far for a "long run" but considering where I've been over the past month it seems like a very good starting point. I tried to slow it down early but ended up hitting the manor house (~2.5miles) in pretty much the same time as all my other runs thusfar this week. But I didn't pay for it in the end and handled the extra miles well. The foot didn't seem to break down on me or fall apart which is good. Hopefully it'll respond well to the extra miles. Back to FL now which also means back to every run being on pavement. |
